This website
This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking scripts, and does not collect any personal information. Our hosting provider (Microsoft Azure) may keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses, for security purposes.
What we collect when you register
When you complete our registration form (hosted on Microsoft Forms in our own Microsoft 365 account), we collect:
- your name
- your email address
- your child's age group (Early Years, Primary or Secondary / Post-16)
- your availability
- your confirmation that you have read this notice
We do not ask for your child's name, diagnosis, school or any details about their needs.
Why we use it and our lawful basis
We use your information only to contact you about a place in a group and, if you are offered one, to arrange it. Places are limited, so registering your interest does not guarantee a place. Our lawful basis is your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You give it by ticking the consent box on the registration form, and you can withdraw it at any time.
Who can see it
Only Dr Eve Mbire-Chigumba, who runs the groups, can access your information [confirm nobody else needs access]. We do not sell or share it with anyone else. Microsoft processes it on our behalf as our service provider (Microsoft Forms, in our Microsoft 365 account). Microsoft says Forms data for our account is stored in its European data centres; this is a Europe-wide location, not a UK-only one. Some processing may take place outside the UK, including in the United States. Microsoft is certified under the UK Extension to the Data Privacy Framework (the "UK-US data bridge"), which is the safeguard for that transfer. [Legal check: confirm this wording and that the certification is still current.]
How long we keep it
We keep registration details for one month after the pilot ends [confirm] and then delete them securely.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your information, to restrict or object to how we use it, and, where we rely on consent, to withdraw your consent at any time. To do any of these, email us at the address above.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
